We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful matching pair of dainty walnut and rosewood carved parlor chairs that date from the 1870s in original condition. They came right out of a home in Bangor, Maine. Someone had a seating covering on top, so they really protected the old needlepoint fabric. They are worn a bit on the corners, but the actual colorful floral is in nice shape. They have wonderful carved cabriole legs, serpentine skirt, hand cut carved crest on top of the back and the overall condition is good. There is a small crack on the back that has nothing to do with the structure but we will check it out prior to shipping. The overall size is 19 inches wide, 20 inches deep, 37 inches high to the chair back and 18 inches high to the seat. You are getting the pair for one money. Shipping starts at $165 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England. Outside New England it will change, so please contact us prior to purchase with your zip code to obtain a quote for outside of New England for shipping.
