We are listing today this very unusual example of a much better than average solid black walnut civil war era gentleman’s arm chair in outstanding condition. Look at the cabriole legs, carved forearms, carved skirt, unbelievable thick and bold fancy crest and the fresh beige upholstery with silver trims. It has castors in the front. It almost looks like a shield of arms the way it is designed on the hand carved crest. The overall size is 42 inches high, 25 inches wide and 32 inches deep. It is ready to go into the home.
