SOLD Victorian Cameo Back Grape Carved Sofa- Civil War
We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful cameo back Victorian solid black walnut hand carved grape back civil war era sofa that dates from the 1850s to 1860s. It is a great looking little sofa. We have sold this model many times. This one has been reupholstered in the last 20 years or so in an antique crush velour wine color. It also has buttons and pleats. The couch frame is all solid black walnut and original. It has one crack in the medallion back right about 2:00 ( if it was a clockface) if you are looking at the oval. The sofa itself came out of the house really dusty and we did give it a quick dust, but it could use a good dusting and a shampoo. You can see where it was stacked up in the house with some chairs on top as there are indentions in the seat, but those will come right out with a steaming or just over time. It is a cute little sofa that is 67 inches wide, 28 inches deep and 34 inches tall. the seat height is 19 inches. Shipping will start at $299 for a driveway delivery in our normal area.
