SOLD Twin Canopy Beds, Pair of Cherry Twin Beds by Pennsylvania House
This pair of vintage twin canopy beds are cherry twin size canopy beds that were sold by the Pennsylvania House Company. The beds aren’t super old and probably only date from around 2000. They are all cherry wood construction, and feature hook on rails, even though they have faux bolt covers; the company was simulating an older pair of beds with this detail. They have a solid shield in the headboards and tall multi-turn posts. The beds showed up with only 7 finials. One of the finials was missing and if it doesn’t show up, we will fabricate one for you so it will have 8 finials. These beds have dainty curved top canopies, and the overall size on the outside is 43 inches wide, 69 inches high to the top of the finial post, 27 inches high to the cross stretcher on the footboard, 38 inches high to the top fo the shield on the headboard and the height of the canopy in the very center is 77 inches high. The space underneath the side rails is 7 inches high and the top of the side rails are 12 inches high. The original finish is a cherry brown color that shows minor surface scratches here and there from normal use. You are getting both beds for one money. Shipping starts at $285 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges.
