We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful civil war era solid wood American country writing desk that dates from the 1860s era. It is a beautiful solid black walnut table that someone refinished a long time ago. It has two hand cut dove tail drawers, walnut border black leather inserted top and a beautiful set of fluted legs on all four corners. It has molding on the edge and is finished in a medium walnut stain. It is a gorgeous writing table that is getting harder to find. The overall size is 48 inches wide, 30 inches deep and 31 inches high. The table is in wonderful condition and comes with the original castors. The size of the hand cut dove tail drawers are 4 inches high. The height where your legs would go is 24 inches high.
