SOLD Vintage Mahogany Rice Carved Full Size Canopy Bed
We are pleased to be offering today this mahogany rose carved pencil poster bed in the Sheraton style dating from the 1940s. It is a beautiful bed in solid mahogany. The finials had to be re-turned as they had been damaged and are an exact match to the original ones. The canopy is all in place and the bed is all in original condition. The overall size is 56.5 inches wide on the outside and 6 foot 2 inches to the top of the finial. At the top of the very canopy it is 80 inches tall at the very arch. The inside dimensions for mattress purposes is 54 by 75 inches. The finish is a dark reddish brown mahogany stain. It could use a thorough cleaning, but the bed is in good condition overall with just normal wear marks. Shipping starts at $279 for our normal delivery area.
