We are pleased to be offering this beautiful solid mahogany pencil poster bed with the rice carving on the fluted post and it comes in the original natural dark reddish brown mahogany stain finish. Dating from the 1940s, it comes with the hook on rails that support a modern day box spring and mattress. It features a beautiful mahogany shield in the headboard, fluted column posts that are all the same height and a straight grain plank front.
The bed is 56 inches wide, 66 inches high on the posts, 42 inches high on the headboard shield and 17 inches high on the front board. The inside dimensions for mattress purposes is 54 inches by 75 inches. It is a beautiful bed hat is all set to go into the home.
