We are pleased to be offering today this fragile and hard to find Victorian age wicker tea cart with a glassed in service area that is serviced by two flip down glass doors (one on each side) that is in good condition. It has all its original wheels: the large ones are 13 inches high and the small ones are 8 inches high. It has the original pull handle. The flip down glass doors has a handle missing on one side. So you have one to copy. All it takes is a little bit of wrap around a piece of metal. It has minor loss of missing wraps on the wicker. I would say it is 95% really nice original. It has an oak surface on the top, middle and bottom. It has warmed to a beautiful patina over the years. It dates from the 1880s. I didn’t see any makers mark, but the quality would lead me to believe that it is likely a Heywood Wakefield. The overall size without the handle is 27 inches wide, 17 inches deep and 31 inches high. The bottom shelf is 12 inches high. The middle shelf is 24 inches high. The top shelf is 31 inches high. The pull handle on the side adds another 3 inches. Please see the photos as there are some stain marks on the top. It could be redone, but I would leave it alone personally. Shipping starts at $185 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England. Outside New England it will change, so please contact us prior to purchase with your zip code to obtain a quote for outside of New England for shipping.
