SOLD Victorian Platform Barley Twist Rocker by Hunzinger
We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful and gorgeous Hunzinger platform rocker in the original finish with fairly recent upholstery. Whoever reupholstered this rocker know what they were doing. It is all padded properly, the right color gimp, the fabric goes great against the cherry mahogany stain wooden frame and Hunzinger is getting hard to find. It has the paper label and it is also identified by the H style rocker frame as it is the only brand that uses that style. Hunzinger used a lot of barley twist and it shows on the platform base, posts and on the arms. The fabric is a light peach faint color with an antique beige background with beige gimp that looks stunning against the frame. It has the honeycomb finials on the top posts that are usually gone. The overall size is 28 inches wide across the arms, 20 inches wide on the inside of the arms, 22 inches deep, 41 inches high to the chair back and 18 inches high to the seat. I hope to sell this right off as I can’t keep the help out of it. It is very comfortable.
