SOLD Victorian Oak Roll Top Desk – Ladies Desk

We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful original finish oak ladies size roll top that dates from the 1890s in original condition.  It was built around the 1890s with round dove tail drawers, four drawers going down the right bank side, pull out writing surface and a large center drawer.  It has the original finish throughout except for the top which was scratched up so we re-sprayed it to remove the scratches.  It is all original.  It has a couple of chips one on the back left hand corner and one on the right front corner on the very bottom of the base.  Other than that and a split on the back panel and on the inside, these are normal problems when someone tries to drag the desk.  If the buyer so desires, we can repair these prior to shipping.  One of the drawers is locked and we can not open currently.  We will get a key to open it before shipping.  The bottom file cabinet drawer has a hole where there was a lock at one time.  It is a cute little size in a dark amber finish.  The roll works well.  It has the pull out drawers and pencil trays on the interior.  The overall size is 36 inches wide, 27 inches deep and 45 inches high.  The top of the writing surface is 29 inches high and the S roll top is 16 inches high.  The space where the chair goes in is 21 inches wide and 24 inches high.  It is a great looking desk.  Shipping starts at $325 if you are in our normal area and will increase in costs if not.
