We are pleased to be offering today this most unusual find of a tiger sawn oak rolled arm double press back tilt and swivel office chair by Larkin dating from the 1900’s in previously refinished condition. This chair was sold by the Larkin Furniture Company. I have had sets of these arm chairs many times and this pattern style is called the basket weave. This chair was refinished a long time ago and it could use to be glued up, which we will do prior to shipping. It has a spring upholster seat that could use a little attention, but I am sure when you sit on it that it flattens out. The rolled arm top has multi-turn spindles, double press back basket weave and sits upon a four legged cast iron threaded base that tilts, swivel and goes up and down. When Larkin gave away their product this chair was offered as a swivel chair, arm chair, rocking chair and as a set of dining chairs. It is a great looking chair that other than the glue up it is in good condition. The overall size is 21 inches wide, 20 inches deep, 48 inches high to the chair back, 28 inches high to the arm and 20 inches high to the seat. Other than normal nicks and dings it is a really nice office chair. Shipping starts at $165 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England.
