SOLD Victorian Oak Barley Twist Carved Corner Cabinet of Horner Quality
We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful tiger sawn oak north wind or lion face barley twist high end quality corner china closet that dates from the early 1890s. This is the real deal. It is a great piece that came out of an estate in western Massachusetts. It is a quality piece that has big fat rope or barley twist posts going down both sides, wavy pane glass on top, cookie corner detail carved crest on the molding and the base has a lion face in the center with two curved doors underneath in solid oak detail lion face carving. The finish is pretty much original. It was definitely a quality company that is of Horner quality. The glass door opens up to reveal four adjustable shelves. This is a two piece cabinet for ease in shipping. The overall size is 42 inches wide, 29 inches deep and 79 inches high. The base cabinet is 31 inches high. This will take up 32 inches of wall space on both sides. It is a great looking cabinet that I am pleased to be offering today. There is no key with the cabinet, but the locks are intact.
