We are pleased to be offering today this dark walnut Victorian marble top turtle top parlor stand that came right out of a home in southern Maine. What a great looking top with the strong gray grains in the white marble ogee bevel edge shapely top that sits upon a solid black walnut legged base. This table was refinished by a cabinet shop in mid-Maine about six months before we purchased it. It is all tight and sturdy. It has four cabriole outside legs that are joined together with cross stretchers, center finial, grape clusters on all four legs with leaves and the original marble. It has a small hairline crack on the marble and it appears like the grain. The overall size is 34 inches wide, 26 inches deep and 28.5 inches high. It is a good looking table that is large in size to hold a leaded lamp or a vase of flowers. Shipping is $225 and shipping outside new England could be as much as $350.
