We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful two over four mahogany serpentine front claw foot Victorian age tall chest with a beautiful shapely bevel glass mirror that dates from the 1890s. It appears to have all the original hardware. All the key holes covers are intact. The brass threaded rods that let the mirror tilt are all there. All the carving appears to be intact. The mirror is all streaked and could be re-backed unless you are one of those people that love antique looking glass. If you want the mirror re-backed it is approximately $80 to have it perfect. I personally would leave it alone as I like the charm and character it adds. It has a dark reddish stain finish. It has a shapely top with a multi-molded shapely reverse edge, round corner pillars and ends in a detail claw foot. The overall size is 34 inches wide, 21 inches deep, 49 inches high to the top of the dresser and 79 inches high to the top of the mirror. The size of the looking glass 20 inches wide by 26 inches tall. The very top of the dresser has a few wears marks where people sat things over the years. The drawers are all dove tail construction. Shipping starts at $325 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England. Please contact us prior to purchase with your zip code to confirm what it would cost you if outside of New England for shipping.
