We are pleased to be offering today this hanging shelf that was seen in New England farm houses back in the day dating from the 1880's. It has an unusual design carved center with a fleur-de-lis in the center with bow ties. It has egg and dart style molding underneath the design. The carved shelf supports has multi grooves. The top has an actual multi-molded edge. The wood is either walnut or poplar stained walnut. The overall size is 48 inches across, 9 inches deep and the height is 14 inches. The top has multiple stains from oil lamps, but you normally wouldn’t see the top. If you want it refinished, we would be happy to provide a quote if you email us.
