SOLD Victorian Gentlemen’s Carved Arm Chair with Needlepoint Seat & Back
We are please to be offering today this wonderful solid carved black walnut Gentleman’s arm chair with needlepoint seat and back that dates from the 1880s. It has what appears to be the original dark green floral design needlepoint fabric. The fabric is in good condition and goes wonderful against the patina. The chair has hand carving across the back, bottom of the back, back legs, knuckle arms and a serpentine walnut front skirt. It has the original castors. The overall size is 26 inches wide, 24 inches deep, 44 inches high to the chair back, 24 inches high to the arm and 17 inches high to the seat. It is a great looking chair.
