We are pleased to be offering today a beautiful French walnut carved needlepoint arm chair that dates from the 1940s to 1950s. It is a great looking chair finished in a pecan color finish, which is a brownish light walnut. The finish is tie age worn on the knuckles and on the side posts. The chair is all tight and sturdy and the upholstery is in really nice condition. It has a hand carved rose on the back crest, carved knuckles, cabriole legs, a serpentine front skirt and floral carvings on the tops of the legs and on the skirt. The overall size is 26 inches wide, 21 inches deep, 36 inches high to the back and 18 inches high to the seat. It is a great decorator piece that shows just the normal wear and tear n the knuckles of the arms and the outside of the legs.
