We are pleased to be offering this civil war era solid black walnut Victorian marble top hall tree to you today. Dating from the 1860s to 1870s, with original cast iron drip pan, this hall tree remains in nice original condition. There is a drawer underneath the marble shelf that is unique, and has multi-turn spindle posts, bevel edges across the umbrella holds on top, diamond point cast iron drip pans, turnip legs on the bottom, cutout fanciness across the solid walnut back, seven pegs, all intact, and finished off with a top that is carved in fretwork and multi-molding. The overall size is 33 inches wide, 15 inches deep, 31 inches high to the marble shelf and the overall height is 86 inches high. It is a great looking piece. The mirror glass has been replaced as it is in nice condition. It is a great looking original finish hall tree.
