SOLD Antique Victorian Marble Top Burl Walnut Hall Tree
We are pleased to be offering today this Victorian burl walnut and solid black walnut marble top with drawer and original drip pans hall tree that dates from the 1880s era in original condition right out of a home in southern Massachusetts. It comes with six brass hooks, burl walnut trim around the round corner mirror that appears to be original with some age marks, original arms and cast-iron original drip pans that are marked that they were made in New York. It has a leaf design circular medallion center on the top with turn finials, turn posts, routed carved, cutout buttons and carved leaves. It has a white and gray grain bevel edge top that sits above the hand cut dove tail drawer that still sports the original brass handle hardware. It has burl walnut across the face of the drawer and burl walnut around the perimeter of the mirror. The overall size is 35 inches wide, 14 inches deep, and 23 inches high to the marble. The overall height is 85 inches tall. Overall condition is very good with the exception of a chip of wood (small) off on the very top of the crest on the left side and two screw holes on the very top (most likely to screw the hall tree against the wall).
