We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful original finish Victorian renaissance burl walnut marble top mirror hall tree that dates from the 1870s to 1880s in original condition that came right out of a home in Connecticut. It was a fantastic find. They are getting tough to locate with the burl walnut intact, all six hooks in place, original looking glass and original finish. Look at the burl walnut panels, picture frame molded, umbrella racks and even the cast iron clam shell drip pans. It has multi turn spindles with diamond point burl accent pieces on both sides of the hand cut dove tail drawer. Look at the top crest that is all hand carved with burl accent pieces and a crown molded dome shape top. It is in the original finish of a medium walnut stain with a great patina. It has minor flaws for the age, but nothing notable. The overall size is 43 inches wide, 24.5 inches wide on the marble, 14 inches deep on the marble, 15.5 inches deep on the entire hall tree, 90 inches high overall, 34 inches high on the looking glass and 15 inches wide on the looking glass. It is a great piece of Victoriana that we were lucky to find. Shipping starts at $395 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area.
