We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful mahogany carved slant top secretary multi-drawer desk that dates from the 1890s in solid mahogany. What a fantastic looking desk with a carved backsplash, carved lid, carved base, carved feet and even carved sides! When you open the lid it exposes a multi-birds eye maple drawer interior with multiple cubby holes and even comes with the original key. The tiny little Chippendale handles are on the base, which tells me this was probably a bench made custom desk. Look at the backsplash with north wind, serpents in the carved lid and the sides are carved deep. The overall size is 34 inches wide, 18 inches deep and 52 inches high.
