We are pleased to be offering today this really petite sideboard or server that is marble top burl walnut dating from the 1870s in original condition right out of a western Maine estate.  The overall size is 38.5 inches wide, 18 inches deep, 36.5 inches high to the marble and 74 inches high to the top of the crest.  It is really petite.  It has three drawers and double doors on the base, two small drawers above the doors.  When the doors open it reveals a single shelf in the middle on the right and the left hand side is wide open.  The drawers are all hand cut dovetail.  The white and gray grain marble has a bevel edge and does not appear to have any chips, cracks or stains.  The top is burl walnut panels in the background with an Eastlake spoon carved crest on top with a little daisy buttons on each end and a large center shelf that holds a mantle clock or an oil lamp.  The height from the marble to the shelf is approximately 15.5 inches high.  It is all supported with cutout Eastlake carved shelf supports.  It is in the original finish with the original hardware.  The key is missing.  Shipping estimates starts at $285.00-$310.00 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England.
