We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful original finish burl walnut heavily carved Victorian age marble top etagere that dates from the 1870s era in beautiful condition. It is a great piece with a heavy crown molded top, carvings throughout, turn finials, burl walnut panels, multi-shelves and mirrors in back of the shelves. It has a drawer on the base with burl panels and a detail lion face carved out of solid walnut. It has raised panel burl throughout and heavy carving. The overall size is approximately 96 inches high, 48 inches wide and 20 inches deep. The depth of the marble is 16 inches. The marble is 44 inches wide and has a shapely edge that follows the contours of the shapely base. It is a great etagere that hasn’t been touched and is all original.
