We are pleased to be offering today this most unusual oak dowel and ball or stick and ball bookcase from the 1890's to maybe even the 1880's. It is a great looking piece with four shelves that are supported with oak dowels. It has big oak balls on the ends and dowel stick and ball finials all over the place. The balls are approximately 2 inches thick on the bottom and 1.75 inches thick on the top. It has a V shape crest on the back to finish off a pretty little crest. There are 4 short little dowels that are 2 inches high that are missing on the side and we will try to find them prior to the shipping if you remind us a t the time of the sale. The overall size is 18.5 inches wide, 13.5 inches deep, 11 inches deep on the shelves themselves and 42 inches high overall. The height to the four shelves are approximately 7 inches, 16 inches, 25 inches and 33 inches from the floor. Shipping is $85 for a driveway delivery in our normal area.
