SOLD Set of 9 Victorian Walnut Dining Chairs **REDUCED PRICE**

We are pleased to be offering today a very unusual find in the Victorian world, a matching set of 9 solid black walnut dining chairs that date from the 1870s to 1880s.  The set consists of a set of 8 regular chairs and one youth chair, which is slightly taller (2 inches).  However if you would like, we can shorten the youth chair to make an additional regular chair. The chairs are solid black walnut, triple slat back, hip huggers that are oversized for strength and durability, incise carving and they have multi-turn spindles. The chairs are coming right out of the home, where they started to cane them on their seats.  However, I would suggest that you either start all over with the cane or what we normally do it manufacture a cushion fabric seat that screws on with the holes that are already there.  We typically use an antique wine or dark green crush velour upholstery which goes great against the patina of the chairs.  We will offer for an additional service fee to strip, re-glue, tighten, stain, stain, lacquer and reupholster the chairs.  The choice is up to you, but please contact us to discuss details.  You are getting all nine chairs for one money.  The side chairs are 20 inches wide, 17.5 inches deep, 36 inches high to the back and 18 inches high to the seat.  The youth side is 20 inches wide, 18 inches deep, 38 inches high to the back and the seat is 20 inches high.  The youth chair can be cut down to make a regular side chair if the buyer so desires.  The chairs are all solid black walnut and all the components are there, but please plan on redoing the seats in either cane or a manufactured upholstered seat.  Shipping for these nine chairs will start at $299 for a driveway delivery in our normal shipping area.  Please contact us to obtain a quote for your particular location and type of service desired as we also offer a white glove delivery for most areas.  We have many more items listing in the next weeks out of this same estate, so please bookmark our site to see the array of wonderful furniture we have acquired.
