SOLD Set of 8 Custom Mahogany Chippendale Dining Chairs
We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful set of 8 matching high quality high style Chippendale queen Anne formal dining room chairs that date from the 1890s era. It is a great looking set of chairs from the era. They have six matching needlepoint seats with a wine background and two seats that have not been upholstered yet. The two seats just have rough upholstery. Look at the cross stretchers on the base that hold the flared back leg to the Chippendale queen Anne cabriole front legs together with the flame mahogany skirt and an extra tall back! They are solid mahogany throughout the back, cross stretchers and everything. The only thing I can see wrong with the chairs is that someone of a large stature leaned back and cracked where the center splat meets the back, which we will repair and touch up prior to shipping. There is some wear on the corner blocks on a few of the legs from normal wear and tear which we will touch up at no charge. The wonderful thing about this matching set of eight is the extra quality and the height of the backs. The overall size is 20 inches wide, 16.5 inches deep, 44 inches high to the back and 19 inches high to the seat. You are getting all eight for one money.
