SOLD Set of 7 Custom Chippendale Mahogany Dining Chairs
We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful set of 7 assembled mahogany Chippendale dining chairs that date from the 1880s era. They have been all re-glued and redone. A beautiful period style fabric has been applied to the slip seats. The set consists of two arm chairs and five side chairs. There is a slight difference on a couple of the chairs, but you will have to study them to see as we didn’t realize when we bought them out of the house. They have great carved knuckles on the cabriole legs, solid mahogany carved detail city Chippendale backs, lip molding around the seat cushions and they are a great looking set of chairs. The difference we noticed that causes us to call them assembled is a small molding on the back of the seat that is different than the rest of the set and the carving is slightly different on the backs. You are getting the set of seven for one money. The overall size of the arm chairs are 22 inches wide, 19 inches deep, 40 inches high to the backs, 18 inches high to the seat and 27 inches high to the arms. The side chairs are 21 inches wide, 18 inches deep, 40 inches high and 18 inches high to the seat. Shipping starts at $295 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England.
