SOLD Set of 6 Oak Carved Claw Foot Arm Chairs – Very Rare
We are pleased to be offering today this very rare and unusual find in the antique business. A set of 6 matching tiger sawn oak claw foot unusual dainty arm chairs. The really cool thing about these is that the arms set back quite a ways to tuck them under the table skirts. These arms are only 9 inches long versus the traditional 15 inches long. The chairs are all tiger sawn oak and they come with the original tags underneath. The upholstery is in pretty good shape. The unusual part is that they normal come one or two arm chairs, but to find a set of 6 matching arm chairs is amazing. The overall size is 19 inches wide across the seat, 17 inches deep, 22 inches wide on the outside of the arms, 17 inches wide on the inside of the arms, 19 inches high to the seat, 27 inches high to the arms and 40.5 inches high to the chair back. What a great find! We have had matching arm chairs before, but nothing like this with the short mini arm. The finish is the original dark oak stain finish from the 1890s to 1900s. They are in untouched original condition and are all tight and sturdy. Shipping starts at $295 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England.
