SOLD Set of 6 Mahogany Shield Back Dining Chairs – Twin Arms
We are pleased to be offering today this set of six matching mahogany Hepplewhite shield back dining chairs that date from the 1940s. The set consists of four matching side chairs and two arm chairs. They are in really nice original condition. The fabric is usable, even though they could use a good cleaning. The chairs have a multi-fingered shield back with the traditional shield back outside frame with carving on the inside of the shield. The legs are Hepplewhite spade foot. The chairs have a cross stretcher for strength and sturdiness. The overall size of the arms chairs are 22 inches wide, 18 inches deep, 39 inches high to the chair back, 20 inches high to the seat and 28 inches high to the arms. The side chairs are 20 inches wide, 18 inches deep , 39 inches high and 20 inches high to the seat. You are getting the set of six for one money. The chairs are all tight and sturdy for use.
