SOLD Antique Set of 6 Mahogany Shield Back Dining Chairs

We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful set of six matching mahogany shield back dining chairs of a much better than normal quality.  They have the five finger splat back and are all solid mahogany.  They are mahogany throughout.  The seat covers are an antique blue crush velour and they have been used showing water spots that we will try to clean out.  These are easy to reupholster and we will normally cover chairs for the buyer if they provide the fabric of their choice.  We can reupholster them prior to shipping, so please email for details.  This set of chairs is a great set in the Hepplewhite style, Chippendale tapered front leg, solid mahogany H cross stretcher and they are of quality like a Drexel or one of those better names.  You are getting the five side chairs and the one master chair for one money,  These chairs date from the 1940s era.  The overall size of the arm chair is 24 inches wide, 19 inches deep, 41 inches high to the back, 27 inches high to the arm and 19 inches high to the seat.  The side chairs are 22 inches wide, 18.5 inches deep, 40 inches high to the chair back and 19 inches high to the seat.  This is a much better than average set of chairs.  Other than normal nicks and dings, there no break marks or anything serious wrong with the chairs.
