SOLD Set of 4 Oak Press Back Dining Chairs – Early 1900’s
We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful set of 4 matching previously refinished oak press back spindle back dining chairs that date from the 1900’s. They were refinished by the previous owner in a dark oak stain. They are actually a really nice looking chair. A couple chairs are a little loose, which we will tighten up prior to shipping. The overall condition is real nice. They have press cane seats that are all good at this time. They have a wonderful curved back with a deep dish press back design with multi-turn solid oak spindles across the back, back leg posts, front legs and cross spindles on the front. They are reasonably priced. They came right out of a home in Connecticut and we are passing the savings on to you. They overall size is 17 inches wide, 16 inches deep,4 1 inches high to the back and 18 inches high to the seat. The only thing I can see wrong with the chairs is that they must have had upholstered seats at one time as you can see where there are small rust spots from the tacks on a couple of the seat bottoms, no big deal. You are getting all 4 for one money. Shipping starts at $225 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England.
