We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful oriental rug made by the Karastan carpet company back in the 1940's to 1950's. It came out of a local estate. It is a real good size rug with multiple colors. The overall condition is good. It has one worn spot where a chair leg must have sat as it is about the size of a silver dollar. The fringe has worn done quite a bit, which is normal for this age. Other than a real good cleaning, the rug is in good shape. There is some fading in the center where a table must have sat. They kept it clean more on the outside than the inside, but a good cleaning would do wonders. There is a slight variation in the colors as you walk around the rug, but it is common of a rug this size to have furniture sitting on it for years. There are no rips or stains.
