We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful hand made rug that came out of an local estate along with some beautiful lamps. The estate was a friend of mine who passed away a few years back and his widow has decided to sell a few items. This rug came out from under a bed from a marble top bedroom where it has been stored for at least 20 years or so and has the original tag from the dealer and says the type of rug is silk and the size is 3' 4" by 4' 11". The style is a Tabriz Persian rug. It has a special price tag of $2275 with a sale price of $1375 still attached to it from years ago. It is a well made quality rug. Our price is so much less expensive than the original sale price. The rug has a center medallion and fringe ends. There are birds in the corners. It is a very busy and colorful rug that is simply gorgeous. When you walk around it, it actually changes in sheens and colors. It is absolutely unused and is very tightly sewn as they were back in the day. After looking at the rug further, I believe that the sale price was a bargain back in the day.
