We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful pair of walnut twin size beds that date from the 1930’s era. They are a gorgeous pair with big circle inlaid with a basket of floral arrangements on the headboard and footboard. It has applied old chain wood moldings with carvings on the insides, rope braided molding across the base and beautiful floral inlaid across the footboard. The top carvings are not plaster or gesso, but actual wood. It is a gorgeous pair. The overall size is 41 inches wide by 48 inches high on the headboard and 15 inches high on the footboard. The inside dimensions for mattress purposes is 39 inches by 76 inches. A modern day twin size mattress will fit. They were made and sold by the Johnson Brothers out of Grand Rapids Michigan which were known for high quality stylish goods.
