SOLD Antique Burl Walnut French Inlaid Nightstands - Pair
This pair of antique nightstands features serpentine fronts and sides, burl walnut and straight grain walnut, are French carved with triple drawers. These nightstands date from the 1930s and remain in original condition. With only the normal wear you would expect from something almost 100 years old, the top has some slightly worn clear coat, and the finish on the multi-molded edges is worn a little, but over all this set of nightstands remains in great shape. Now that being said, they would look absolutely incredible completely stripped and refinished; if you're interested in that, we're happy to give you a quote to have this done in our professional restoration shop.
The overall size is 25 inches wide at the back, 13 inches deep and 32 inches high. The three drawers are all dovetailed of course, with serpentine front, top drawers have floral design inlay, and you'll see matched veneer on the serpentine sides.
Other than the wear marks here and there, the overall condition is nice (but we do think these would look spectacular all professionally refinished, as we said above).
