SOLD Antique Pair of Victorian Burl Walnut Armchairs
We are pleased to be offering today this pair of renaissance Victorian incise carved burl walnut armchairs dating from the early 1880s. It is a fantastic looking pair with cane backs and cane seats. The cane is good in one chair. The other chair the seat is good but the chair back has a couple of holes poked in it. I personally love seeing these done up in leather, but that is up to the buyer. The chairs have a burl walnut incise trim on top with carvings around, buttons on the top crest, incise carvings on the carved knuckles, carved fronts on the seat, seat trim, incise carving on the curved stretcher, multi-turn front leg and flared back legs. The overall size is 18 inches wide, across the seat, 18 inches deep, 19 inches wide on the outside of the arms, 39 inches high to the top of the chair crest, 22 inches high to the arms and 18 inches high to the seat. It is a great pair of chairs that are tight and sturdy. You are getting both chairs for one money. Shipping starts at $165 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges, which could add on especially if you're on the West Coast. Please contact us prior to purchase with your zip code to obtain a quote for additional shipping outside of New England.
