We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful burl walnut Eastlake carved arm chair that dates from the 1880s. A gorgeous chair with detailed carved burl panels. The chair is in outstanding condition. It has recently been reupholstered in the last 5 years in a gorgeous floral fabric. They went to town on it. They did a nice job on the chair. They even cushioned and wrapped the arm chair on the arms. The chair is a work of art. The chair has a burl walnut panel on the back, down the side post, across the front skirt, and multi-turnings on the legs and wonderful detail carvings across the back. The arm chair or master chair is 23 inches wide, 21 inches deep, 40 inches to the top of the carved crest, and 17 inches high to the seat. The chair is all tight and sturdy. It has a very clean original finish, which that 120 year old finish produces such a wonderful patina. The chair even comes with the original dainty little brass castors.
