We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful French boudoir style chair that dates from the 1940s to 1950s. The reason why we said “this” chair is because one them is all nice and dark pink upholstery and the other one matches it, but it has a cat urine smell to it. So you have the option to take both chairs or the one good chair. The buyer will most likely want to strip these chairs and reupholster them anyways, as these chairs are very unique. I have never seen like this style. The upholstery is pretty bad on both chairs and should be replaced. So you are buying one chair that has no smell and you are getting the other one for free. The difference comes in the shipping. If you ship one chair it would be $185, but if you want both chairs it would be $285 for a driveway delivery. However, $100 extra is a great deal to have a pair of unique boudoir chairs. These chairs date from the 1940s era. They have a dark walnut colored finish on top of the incise carved frames that are likely beech. The walnut has been plastered over and then it has been glazed over with a finish. The upholstery has been buttoned and tufted. One in pink and one in peach. The overall size is 31 inches wide, 24 inches deep, 36 inches high to the chair back at the highest point and 18 inches high to the seat. It is a good deal.
