We are pleased to be offering today this pair of French arm chairs that I believe dates from the 1950s era. They came out of an early home and I wish they were period, but they are only from around the 1950s era. They have fluted tapered legs, oval shape back and the wonderful solid wood frames that are all tight and sturdy. The fabric is all good. It is a checkered design that looks nice against the pecan color of the chair frame itself. The overall size is 24 inches wide, 20 inches wide on the inside of the arms, 20 inches deep, 42 inches high to the chair back, 27 inches high to the arm and 19 inches high to the seat.
