We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful match pair of barley twist arm chairs in mahogany that date from the 1880’s to 1890’s. It is a great looking pair of chairs that are in excellent condition other than they have to be tightened up. We will tighten prior to shipping if you remind us at the point of sale. The chairs are extra tall with barley twist posts everywhere. It is solid mahogany construction. It has the old time lace cane that appears to be in good shape. The chairs have deep carved floral design back, big ball finials on each side of the posts and extra wide arms. The overall size is 27 inches across the arms, 24 inches wide across the seat, 19 inches deep, 49.5 inches high to the back, 28 inches high to the arm, and 19 inches high to the seat. Look these chairs over real close. The barley twist construction is every where. They have big flat solid mahogany knuckle arm supports, wonderful deep carved floral design across the back and even across the seat front is ribbon carved. They are a great pair of chairs for an office, bedroom or in front of a fire place. They are in a dark brown mahogany stain finish. You are getting the pair for one money.
