We are pleased to be offering today this oak straight fancy carved desk chair that dates from the 1890s in right out of the home condition. It has multi dainty spindles in the back, curved back of tiger sawn oak, flared back legs, shapely cut out arms and a wonderful cabriole style front leg is all joined together with a solid oak stretcher base. The chair is all original right down to the plywood seat. The finish is original. Someone must have leaned back at one time and cracked one of the posts which was repaired with a screw and we will detail it out prior to shipping. It is sturdy being 22 inches wide, 21 inches deep, 43 inches high to the carved back, 26 inches high to the arm and 18 inches high to the seat. It is in the original old finish that shows minor nicks and dings here and there. Shipping estimates starts at $85.00-$110.00 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England.
