SOLD Mission Oak Library Writing Desk with Bookshelves
We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful mission oak style library writing desk with bookcases on both sides that dates from the 1920s in dark oak stain finish. It came into the shop where we sanded it down, tightened it up, re-stained and applied multiple coats of satin sheen lacquer for years of carefree use. It has a great mission style. It has the bookshelves on the sides and a blind dove tail drawer in the center. The four legs fall right up into the top for a correct mission look. You can see where someone had a vase at one time and there are a couple of ring marks on the top that we did not try to sand out as we left them in to add charm and character to this stunning desk. The overall size is 44 inches wide, 27.5 inches deep and 30.5 inches high. The size of the middle drawer is 19.5 inches wide, 17 inches deep and 2.75 inches high. The bookshelves are 9 inches deep, approximately 23 inches wide and approximately 8 inches high from shelf to shelf. It is a great little desk in the Mission style that we are happy to be offering to you today. Shipping starts at $265 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England.
