We are pleased to be offering today a wonderful piece of carved oak from the Victorian era of the 1880’s as displayed in this wonderful over carved library table writing surface. I don’t know where to start as it has carvings all over the place. It is mind boggling how much carving there is. It has a picture frame carved top that is all tiger sawn oak, rope braided edge carving on the edge of the writing surface, heavily carved skirts, bulbous carved legs and the only thing that isn’t carved are the multi-turn tiger sawn oak cross stretchers. It is finished in the original dark color that looks fantastic. The table is 48 inches wide, 29 inches deep and 30 inches high. It has a large dove tail drawer that is 37 inches wide by 20 inches deep by 3 inches high. The drawer has the same carving as the skirt. Other than minor nicks and dings, it is in wonderful condition. Shipping starts at $365.00 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England.
