We are pleased to be offering today this antique lawyers flat top mahogany raised panel writing desk that dates from the 1890s in original old condition. It comes with the carved handles, double banks, both columns being completely raised panel inside out. The left hand bank has four dove tail drawers. There is a center drawer between the banks. The right hand side has two drawers and then one double drawer for files. The overall size of the desk is 50 inches wide, 32 inches deep and 30 inches high. It has raised panel all the way around. It has signs of wear all the way around. We normally refinish these and charge $1650, but we wanted to offer this one as original. If the buyer so desires we can discuss refinishing at the time of purchase. Overall condition is fine. On the inside of the back modesty panel there is a sliver of wood off where the screw attached to the column missing. Otherwise it has normal wear and tear.
