We are so pleased to offer this wonderful mahogany multi-paneled double column lawyer’s/banker’s roll top desk that dates from the 1890s. It was refinished quite a while ago, so we’ve done some touch up on it, and reinforced the roll, made it all tight and sturdy, and re-sprayed the entire roll to reveal the beautiful wood used. The overall size is 50 inches wide, 32 inches deep, and 49 inches high to the top. It is 31 inches high to the writing surface. It has carved handles, dovetail drawers, double drawer for files on the right, which is 11 inches deep. The chair opening is 20 inches wide and 26 inches high. If you’re looking for a reasonably priced antique desk with all the best of the era, this one has all mahogany, carved posts, dovetail drawers, pullout writing surfaces, and a cubbyhole double drawer interior exposed when the tambour roll is opened.
