We are offering today this beautiful mahogany bonnet top hall clock made by the Herschede clock company out of Cincinnati Ohio back in the 1920s era.  It comes with 5 tubes and multiple chimes.  It plays 3 chimes.  It is a triple weight clock.  It has a silver engraved numeral face with the original hands, a moon type calendar that runs for thirty days and it is a great looking clock in original finish.  When you open the bevel glass bonnet top door, it has the Herschede hall clock company grand prize label on the inside  of the door that they displayed from the exhibition of back in the Panama.  It comes with the original three weights, five tubes, pendulum and hands.  It has cylinder pillars going down into a bun foot.  It has a nice crown molded dome top.  It is 24 inches wide, 17 inches deep and 81 inches high overall.  It is a beautiful clock.  We sell all clocks as is where is because they are so delicate.  What we like to see our clients do, is we have a local craftsman who has been doing clocks for our family for years, Ed Openshaw, who has moved to Maine to be closer to us and he will go right through the works.  It takes 30-45 days to do the work, but the clock is all set to run for a long time without any problems.  He goes through details out the works, the face and pendulum bob.  If you are interested in that service, we can discuss it at the time of the sale. His charge is around $400.00 for the service performed.  It is a great clock finished in a dark brown mahogany stain finish.  Shipping starts at $385 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England.  Please contact us prior to purchase with your zip code to confirm what it would cost you if outside of New England for shipping.
