We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful mahogany gadroon or rope edge ball and claw cabriole leg carved flat top writing desk that dates from the 1890s to 1900s in original condition. It shows minor wear along with nicks and dings. It has polished up good. It has flame mahogany drawer faces, carved corners, four regular drawers and one large center drawer. It is a quality piece with blind dove tail construction. It has high quality brass handles that are all intact. It stands upon wonderful carved detail ball and claw cabriole legs. It has ribbon molding going down both sides of the drawer with the gadroon edge on the writing surface. The overall size is 54 inches wide, 29 inches deep and 31 inches high. Where your legs go is 24 inches wide and 25 inches high. It is a great little desk. More home offices are popping up and the need for desks are higher.
