We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful Chippendale style
mahogany Duncan Phyfe carved flat top writing desk that dates from the
1940s. this came out of a local estate. We have brought it in to sand and
re-spray it to bring out the gorgeous patina. The desk has four drawers
going down each bank. The drawers, including the center drawer, are all dove
tail. The top has rope braiding or a gadroon edge on the rectangular top
comes down into a French ogee splayed bracket foot. The overall condition
is all god. The overall size is 42 inches wide, 21 inches deep and 30
inches high. The space in the center is 18 inches wide by 24 inches high
for leg space. The desk dates from the 1940s. The inside of the drawers
does have ink stains where someone was sloppy. Shipping for a driveway
