We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful mahogany Duncan Phyfe bow front six drawer double door formal sideboard that dates from the 1940s to 1950s. I’m not sure who made it as they are usually stamped on the inside of the drawer, but it looks to be the quality of Drexel. It has two picture frame straight drawers above the two picture frame outside cupboard doors. In the center there are four dove tail curved front drawers with picture frame molding. It retains the original Duncan Phyfe style hardware. The key hole escutcheons for the doors are missing, but if you remind us at the time of the sale, we will replace them. The overall condition is nice. It has normal nicks and dings on the top. Polish will take out some of it, but it could stand to be refinished. We can provide that service at an additional charge. So, please inquire prior to purchase. It is a great sideboard. The overall size is 62 inches wide, 24 inches deep and 36 inches high. It is finished in a dark rich reddish brown stain.
