We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful seven-piece dining room set by the Old Colony Furniture Company and this is part of their Beacon Hill Collection. The chairs are all stamped Beacon Hill Collection. They are high end quality furniture. The estate that had this had a copy of this set showing it was worth $8,000.00, but I don’t believe it is worth that much. The table is 72 inches long by 44 inches deep and 29.5 inches high. The table comes with two 24-inch leaves. The table has a double pedestal base. The set of six solid wood chairs consists of two armchairs and four side chairs. The seats are pop out seats, which makes them easy to reupholster if you so desire. One of the seats has a good size water stain on it, which I believe was done in transport. The seats do show soil marks that I believe will shampoo out. The chairs, table and leaves are all dark brown mahogany stain finish. The set is in really nice condition. This type of furniture is not in our normal inventory due to age, (my guess 30-40 years old), but it is a high-quality set. We are likely a third of what our competitors are, as this isn’t our typical inventory item. The size of the armchairs is 21 inches wide across the arms, 18 inches deep on the seat, 41 inches high to the chair back, 27 inches high to the arms and 19 inches high to the seat. The side chairs are 19 inches wide, 17 inches deep, 39 inches high to the chair back and 19 inches high to the seat. You are getting four side chairs, two armchairs, table with two pedestal base and two leaves. The table has some minor nicks and dings, but it very usable. I would guess that this set dates from the 1980’s era. Shipping starts at $425.00 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges, which could add on especially if you're on the West Coast.
